Vincent J. Driessen joined Reliance Development Company in 1996, and was made
partner in 1998. While at Reliance, Vince has focused on single and
multi tenant retail development.
Prior to joining Reliance, Vince was
responsible for the real estate roll-out of several expanding
retail concepts, including Mid America
Entertainment, a 40-store Blockbuster Video franchisee; Northstar Restaurants, Inc., a five-state, 60-store, Boston Market and Einstein Brothers Bagel franchisee;
and Spin Cycle, Inc., the national leader in the coin
laundry industry. During his four years
on the retailer side of the business, Vince participated in the development of
over 100 retail projects in a seven-state area.
From 1989 to 1992, Vince worked in retail development at Ryan
Companies where he assisted in the planning, development and leasing of over 2
million square feet of community shopping centers. Prior to entering commercial real
estate, Vince held corporate finance positions with Polaroid Corporation in Boston, MA and Queretaro,
Mexico.
Vince holds a Bachelors of Art Degree in Business Administration with a
concentration in Finance from the University of St. Thomas, and a Masters in
International Business Studies from the University
of South Carolina. Vince is married with 3 children, and fancies himself
as a "weekend warrior" sailboat racer.
